The Garden Showcase

"This year’s APL Awards have set a whole new standard in the world of landscaping. The level of talent on display has been incredible, with a record-breaking number of entries pushing boundaries in design and craftsmanship"

Being part of this competition has been an amazing journey, and I’m beyond proud that my garden design was among the projects in the running.

But these awards aren’t just about design—they’re about celebrating the people who make it happen. A great design is nothing without the skill and dedication of those who bring it to life, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team than Paul and his crew https://www.linkedin.com/in/paul-greenyer-511790244/.

His craftsmanship, attention to detail, and sheer hard work turned my vision into something real, something tangible. The way they executed every element with such precision and care was nothing short of exceptional.

Judging this year was tougher than ever its been reported. Over three intense days, a panel of top industry professionals reviewed all the entries, carefully selecting the best of the best. Led by Richard Barnard (Kings Oak Landscapes), the panel included Rod Winrow (Garden House Design), Bob Sweet (BBC Gardeners' World Live), Laura Anstiss (Oakmore Green), and APL General Manager, Phil Tremayne.

Their words summed it up perfectly:

"This year's submissions really showcased the exceptional talent, craftsmanship, and innovation that APL members bring to the landscaping industry. It was a privilege to review such outstanding work. Although it was a tough process, we have selected a supreme winner, and we're confident the industry will be as impressed as we were."

Hearing feedback like that from such respected voices in the industry makes the whole experience even more rewarding. Designing this garden was a passion project—pouring in creativity, problem-solving, and a love for great outdoor spaces.

But at the end of the day, it’s the people on site, the ones who put in the graft, who deserve just as much recognition. In this case its Paul and his team !

The final results will be announced at the APL Awards Ceremony in March 2025. Until then, fingers crossed! 🤞✨
