Im thrilled to share that our biodiversity project at Elm Tree School was recently featured on ITV News! 🌍✨ This collaboration with Greener Growth is all about transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant, nature-rich environments that benefit both wildlife and the students who use them.
Creating a Greener Future at Elm Tree School
Through this initiative, we’ve worked to introduce wildflower meadows, pollinator-friendly planting, and natural habitats that enrich the school’s ecosystem. The goal? To create a learning space where children can connect with nature while actively contributing to local biodiversity.
Seeding Hope – Growing Change in More Ways Than One
What makes this project even more special is the involvement of Seeding Hope – a program that empowers inmates in prisons to grow trees and plants for projects just like this one. By cultivating native trees and hedgerows, this initiative not only helps restore green spaces but also provides meaningful rehabilitation opportunities. It’s a powerful example of how nature can heal, inspire, and create second chances.
